My Goals for 2023 are

Sharna Gallagher - Runner

Sharna Gallagher, I have always enjoyed running from a young age. After a long break I entered the Great North Run in 2017 and joined South Cheshire Harriers to motivate with training. Five years on and a few races later, I’m not too sure what I was doing with my spare time before! My work life is in mental health social work, and running is my time to unwind. My favourite race and proudest running achievement has to be 2021 London Marathon! My main goal for this year is to improve my half marathon PB! We are looking forward to helping Sharna achieve her goals this year...

Robin Zoka - Runner

Robin ran his first Marathon at London Marathon

Amy Crowe - Runner

Amy Crowe, and I run for South Cheshire Harriers. Up until a couple of years ago, the only running I did was taking my dog for a jog around Nantwich and the occasional ParkRun. In the past few years I've started to take my running much more seriously and last year I achieved personal goals across all distances, ranging from my first sub 19 min 5k to finishing Manchester marathon in 3:12:30. Steve returned to Manchester marathon in 2019 and broke the 3 hour barrier, coming in at 2hrs 58mins. But it's running off tarmac and up hills over longer distances that I really enjoy. I've run the length of Cumbria Way (75 miles) as well as winning the mixed pairs race in the Lakeland 50 with my girlfriend, Amy. Steve & Amy also took on the incredibly tough Montane Lakeland 100, where again they took 1st prize in the Mixed Pairs in 34hrs56mins. Steve will be also taking on other off road races, as long as my glass ankles can manage it!

Claire Kivlin - Runner

Claire Kivlin, When I started my running journey after having my daughter Eva, I never thought it would lead to where I’m today. Initially my running was to regain some fitness, but now I enjoy racing as much as social running. I’ve been running for over 5 years now, 4 years of which has been with The South Cheshire Harriers running club. A lot of my spare time is now taken up with running activities. Club runs, Parkrun (Senior and Junior) and racing all over the local areas too. Outside of running, I love my garden, Music ( the noisier the better), being part of GoodGym Crewe and spending time with team Kivlin.
My aims for this year are to run a sub 4 hour marathon and compete in my first Ultra race the Anglesey Fire Lighter Coastal race.
